Lady Chann (London / UK) has been part of North West London’s vibrant Suncycle crew since it’s conception, and now she’s branching out alone, having cut tunes with the likes of Sticky, Warrior One, Toddla T, and South Rakkas crew.

Dreadsquad

In 2003 and 2004 they won the Polish Sound Clash and have produced lots of great dancehall and hip hop artists ranging from Marika, East West Rockers, Ward 21, Tenor Fly, Top Cat, General Levy, U Brown, Milion Stylez, Tipa Irie, Jah Mason and many more.
Dreadsquad’s songs and gigs are the fusion of reggae, dancehall, ska, rocksteady and hip-hop. The duo freely mixes genres, plays with sounds and bases their music on deep bass and broken rhythm. They often combine Jamaican music with modern sounds of Breakbeat, Jungle, Dubstep and Garage.

Dread Bass SoundSystem album dropping June 14th produced by Kush Arora and Nate Mars

Posted on 05 June 2011

Produced by Nate Mars and myself, this ten-track album written and sung by Juakali combines strong lyrics, with a sizzling mix of dub, steppers, flavors of industrial dread sound, anchored by a pulsating bass that will keep heads nodding and bodies swaying.
Over the past 5 years, Juakali and I have worked on countless records, tours, and projects together. With the aid of Nate Mars producing half the record in NYC, we pieced together a perfect festival vibed record for Juakali’s debut full length.
DreadBass Soundsystem is a collection of songs that cover a range of issues including the struggle of immigrants, love, hard decisions, and much much more.
